Easter 2009

We had a pretty good Easter, it was Jacob's 2nd Easter but he was so small last Easter that it almost felt like his first. We went to church Sunday morning and had my little niece dedicated. After church we gave Jacob his first Easter basket filled with a bear, bunny ears, a bib, and gerber snack treats, he seemed quite interested in the crinkly wrap around the Easter basket. Later in the evening we had an Easter egg hunt at my mom's house where Jacob got 17 eggs! That night we went to Cracker Barrel with our family and never forgot the real reason of Easter, to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jacob is a full walker, he prefers walking over crawling now and is starting to run a bit. I have been working hard to lose weight the past 3 months and I've lost 26 pounds so far, I am sure chasing a pre-toddler around helps some!
