We're heading out tomorrow afternoon (more like this afternoon) around 1:00pm for Destin, FL...this will be our first vacation as a family of 3, we have only been on two other vacations since Jacob was born and one was with the whole family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc and the other was on a cruise while my mother in law cared for Jacob, so I am excited for it to just be the 3 of us this time. Unfortunately the weather is showing rain the whole time we're there (Fri-Mon) but its scattered so its not supposed to be constant and its ranging from a 30% to 50% chance.
This will be my first time really trying out my new camera, thats one of the many reasons I am hoping for pretty sunshine, I want to get some great shots of Jacob at the beach for the first time. We are going to a zoo on Saturday which should be fun, hopefully the weather will cooperate.
Jacob got his very first haircut today, he did great! We took him to a place called Snipits, its made for kids and they have a lot of neat toys and things to keep your child busy while getting a hair cut, we also got a picture that said baby's first haircut on it as well as a little baggy of his hair and a small stuffed animal. We didn't let them take too much off since we love his curls but we had to tame it, it looks cute, pictures will follow next week, its late and I have to head to bed and get some rest before our trip.....
